SLT Teams are managed by five triathlon legends, who take the initial lead as Team Managers as part of a balanced ecosystem that will utilise multiple different inputs to help guide its development, structure and rules over the coming years. Z TRI Team is a relatively small triathlon team in Egypt, but they host and join local and national events to breed competitive athletes. Kennedy Calcagno- Calcagno was the first ever triathlete to sign with TCU, with the announcement coming on January 31st.She hails from Elmhurst, IL. Great Britains Georgia Taylor-Brown and Alex Yee both won at the World Triathlon Championship Series in Cagliari. However, the Scorpions were never far behind, and with the tactical mind of Chris McCormack, the backing of Bahrain Victorious, and the athletic brilliance of some of their key team members, they could certainly be one to watch this year. James Elvery, senior athlete from the NZ Elite Triathlon Team, has sent us some preliminary photographs of the team uniform, before they head over to Sydney. Last year, it was SLT Team Eagles that took the overall victory, after Alex Yee finished top of the Men’s leader board and Jess Learmonth dominated in three of the women’s races. All those that completed the program’s 10 workouts and 2 bike and run races, graduated with a chance to make the final team selection process with team selection.
